ADULT NEURO, VESTIBULAR REHAB AND PARKINSON’S PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Sasha-Lee studied at the University of the Western Cape where she received her Bsc. Physiotherapy in 2015. She completed her community service year working at Kuruman Hospital, a rural setting in the Northern Cape. She treated patients with varying conditions mainly NMS; orthopaedics; and adult and paediatric neurology.
While working in a rural setting, she had the opportunity to participate in outreach programs to clinics around the JTG district in the Northern Cape, and was able team up and consult with other members of the multi-disciplinary team which included physiotherapists; occupational therapists; speech therapists and dieticians, to treat patients with a diverse range of clinical conditions.
After graduating, Sasha-Lee completed the Basic Wheelchair Seating course and the Kinesiology-taping course (KT1/KT2).
Sasha-Lee began working at Rehabilita, Mayo Clinic in Roodepoort in May 2016 where she is currently treating neurological adult patients and doing vestibular rehabilitation of the dizzy patient.

LSVT Big is a programme specifically for Parkinson’s patients, for lifelong management of the disease.
She is passionate about gaining knowledge and experience in all areas of adult neurology. She is attracted by the prospect of new challenges where she will be able to engage and actively work with people who have a special interest in adult neurology, to improve the quality of lives of patients.
