Lisa received her BSc in Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in 2018. She completed her Community Service year in the Lenasia Johannesburg Metropolitan District Clinic.
During this time, Lisa worked in a multidisciplinary team and with a wide variety of adult and paediatric neurological, muskuloskeletal and orthopaedics conditions. She has run various community-based campaigns and health talks in clinics and on local Radio.
Lisa throughly enjoys group sessions and has experience treating patients through hydrotherapy and hippotherapy, as well as running back, shoulder, neck, lower limb and arthritis groups.
Lisa has completed courses in Dry Needling (Level 1), Essential Pain Management and Management of the child with Cerebral Palsy.
Lisa’s special interests include neurological and amputation rehabilitation. Health promotion is also one of her big passions, especially the prevention of vascular-related amputation and decreasing the burden of disease in South Africa.
