Practice Owner of Rehabilita, Neuro Physiotherapy
Anne has worked as a physiotherapist since 2003 and as a neuro rehab physiotherapist since 2004. She started her practice at Mayo Clinic and Life Flora Clinic in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, in December 2008. She is passionate about neurological rehabilitation physiotherapy and has completed her Advanced Bobath (NDT) course in “traumatic brain injury in young adults”. She attended the 7th World Neuro Rehab Congress in Melbourne in May 2012 where she had the amazing opportunity to learn the latest and greatest developments in neuro rehab.
Anne believes the patient is the centre of the rehabilitation process and the success of the neuro rehab is reliant on a strong team. The team includes the patient, the patient’s family and close friends, physiotherapists, occupational and speech therapists, doctors and any other health professionals involved. Communication and cooperation within the team is key.
